Bajrangi Bhaijaan is an upcoming Indian comedy-drama film directed by Kabir Khan. It stars Salman Khan and Harshaali Malhotra. The film follows a loving Hindu man who dress up as a Muslim to save a girl from being forced into child marriage. The film was slated to release on 18 July 2015, but it has been postponed due to the death of actor Om Puri, who portrays one of the main characters in this movie, leading to some further proceedings about its release date. It has now been confirmed that the movie will be releasing on 17 August 2016. The music of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is composed by Pritam while the lyrics are penned by Kausar Munir, Amitabh Bhattacharya, Rashmi Virag and Vishal Dadlani. While the first song of the movie titled "Jee Karda" which means "Be A Man", sung by Arijit Singh was released on 12 May 2015. The second song of the movie titled "Kali Kaali" which means "black black", sung by Asha Bhosle was released on 18 May 2015. A romantic number titled "Mitwa", sung by Arijit Singh, Nakash Aziz and Anushka Sharma has been released on 27 May 2015. The fourth song of the movie titled "Mere Sadqe Bari Tamam", sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Chorus and Anushka Sharma was released on 7 June 2015. The song became popular for its highly energetic beat, with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan considered his best performance in the whole album. The fifth song titled "Jee Karda" was released on 10 June 2015, which marks the end of promotions of the soundtrack. It is followed by the lyrics video of the song which is based on "Bajrangi Bhaijaan"'s story line. The full audio album got released with 6 songs in total on 12 June 2015. The complete audio track list features a total of 12 songs composed by Pritam and lyrics penned down by Kausar Munir, Rashmi Virag and Amitabh Bhattacharya. "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" made a collection of Rs. 1.05 crore on day one at the domestic box office. The film collected Rs. 3.50 crore nett on its second day at the domestic box office, bringing its two-day total to Rs 4.56 crore nett. It scored well on the third day as well with collections amounting to Rs 5 crore nett adding up to a three-day total of Rs 10. 56 crore nett.
