When Allah created the Quran, he was inspired by this 'The Noble Quran in Arabic' Al-Quran, but human beings are not required to be able to read it. The language of the Qur'an is composed of Arabic script which is separated into spaces with letters denoting sounds. The most prominent feature in Arabic text is its diacritical marks which are called '''huruf'''. With the help of these and other features and rules, a reader will be able to produce a written text that sounds like it was spoken. The Quran Project is a non-profit project founded by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association in the year 2004 to publish an easy to read and understand translation of the Quran in a modern translation. It was published in 2007. The projects' objective was to spread the message of Islam throughout the world for all people who speak English, Spanish, French, German or any other language. In this manner this project reached out to millions of people who otherwise may not have been able to understand Islam. It was a translation that could be understood by all people from all over the world who communicated using English as their language of choice. This translation is a non-sectarian translation and is sponsored by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. These people believe that the Prophet Muhammad was the last messenger of authentic Islam and that he was sent to deliver Islam to all of mankind as a way of life. In this manner they are trying to stress to the world the importance of following the peaceful teachings as expressed in the Noble Quran, which can be used as a guide for mankind. The translation has been made from one version called The Holy Qur'an: Translated Into English. This translation was made by Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall, who was a respected man amongst Muslims, other faiths and even amongst his countrymen who were not Muslims. He was born on December 22, 1875 in Burao (Somalia). After he died on March 13, 1935 he was considered to be an eminent translator of the Noble Quran. Pickthall lived in London and associated with many Muslim groups whilst he was alive. The translations of The Noble Quran into other languages are only used as references to ensure accuracy of translation into the English language. The translations of these translations are not used as reference for their translation, because they might contain mistakes that were made by their translators. The meaning of some words may not be conveyed accurately between one language and another due to the limitation of words or lack of lexical tools between one language and another. In these few instances, the sense of the word or a sentence may have to be clarified by a clarifying gloss or a footnote. The Sunnah is a way of life for Muslims which is made up of what Muhammad intended to convey with his own words and actions – it is the teachings and guidance of the Prophet Muhammad, not necessarily guaranteed to be an historic law, but rather as a guide that can be used as reference for daily life.
